Kavita Sharma, H.BSc, ND
Dr. Sharma graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, in 2002 after obtaining an Honors Bachelor of Science degree majoring in biology and psychology from McMaster University. She began working at CCNM in 2002 while maintaining her clinical practice, and shortly after became the Associate Dean of Academics responsible for curriculum design and the delivery and evaluation of various academic programs. Dr. Sharma introduced the visiting Elders Program into the curriculum at CCNM, bringing senior naturopathic doctors from around the world to both lecture and be available for consultation with naturopathic students. During her time at CCNM, Dr. Sharma was brought on by the Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges (AANMC), as the project manager for the development of the Professional Competency Profile to be used across North America.
Nahida Jamal, BHSc, ND
Nahida Jamal BHSc, ND graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, in 2010 after completing her Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree at the University of Western Ontario. She began working part-time as an Educational Sales Representative for CLM Health Group in 2008, and upon graduation in May 2010, became their Medical Advisor. Dr. Jamal completed her 4 month clinical externship at Trinity Health Clinic in 2010 after which she was brought on as the Manager of Clinic Operations. In September of 2010, Dr. Jamal went into clinical practice in Toronto, as part of the team of doctors at Trinity Health Clinic.
Melvia Agbeko, BSc, ND
Melvia Agbeko is a licensed Naturopathic doctor (ND) in Toronto and a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). She received a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Alberta and is currently in a 2-year clinic Residency at CCNM. In this role, she supervises 4th year students at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and Sherbourne Community Health Centre.
